Education in Rwanda[edit | edit source]
In Rwanda, education is highly regarded and considered a key component of national development. The Rwandan government has invested heavily in the education system, and as a result, the country has made significant progress in achieving universal primary education. The Rwandan education system is comprised of six years of primary education, followed by six years of secondary education. After secondary education, students can opt to attend university or vocational school.

- Emmanuelle: Muraho! Nitwa Emmanuelle. (Hello! My name is Emmanuelle.)
- Jean: Muraho! Nitwa Jean. Uraho gusoma? (Hello! My name is Jean. How are you doing in your studies?)
- Emmanuelle: Ndi muzima. Nkunda gukora inyandiko. (I'm fine. I enjoy writing.)
- Jean: Ndi muzima kandi. Nkunda kubona urugero rw'ibitabo. (I'm fine too. I like seeing examples from books.)

The university offers undergraduate and graduate programs in a wide range of disciplines, including medicine, engineering, and business.
